     Gorge Security Shred, a member of NAID, (National Association for Information Destruction) is the only local, document destruction business in the gorge, providing knowledge and solutions for your businesses’ legal requirements for destroying confidential information about your customers and employees. GSS’s pricing for route pickup and destruction is lower than other competing providers. The staff is friendly, flexible and ready to help you make sure entrusted proprietary information is securely collected and destroyed.

 

     Gorge Security Shred is a division of Opportunity Connections. In 2009 they received a grant from Tri-county Hazardous Waste and Recycling to help start the business.  Opportunity Connections is a charitable 501 (c )3 private nonprofit organization, incorporated in 1967.  Services and programs are provided at seven sites and within the Mid Columbia community.  70 to 75 non-disabled staff are employed to serve 110 individuals each month both vocationally and residentially.  For some individuals the center is a stepping stone to other employment, to other individuals the center is a lifelong service.
